WebMethods Administrator Position

Project Description / Scope of Project:

Support WebMethods environment by providing administration support, including: user and security administration, environment tuning and support, coordination with infrastructure, developers, and DBA’s in support of application.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

- Create and manage Regional webMethods environments –
- Apply webMethods service packs and upgrades –
- Perform webMethods code deployment, manage package dependencies –
- Monitor and troubleshoot real-time webMethods integration and nightly batch issues –
- Configure and troubleshoot webMethods E1 adapters, subscriptions, RTE and transaction server issues, webSphere MQ Adapter connectivity issues –
- Configure and manage change control within webMethods. Perform object and release deployments, promotions and activations –
- Perform regular system maintenance and monitoring. Provide feedback and escalation to Global wM Administrator and infrastructure teams for technical issues and performance tuning –
- Work with the global webMethods administrator to conform to global Core Model standard

QUALIFICATIONS –

3+ years of webMethods administration experience

- Experience applying wM Service Packs –
- Experience with complex real-time integration –
- Ability to identify and solve issues pertaining to Integration Server, brokers, message queues, adapters, scheduler, and triggering mechanisms –
- Understanding and experience with change control processes and procedures
- Experience with Unix, WebSphere MQ, and Oracle Databases required –
- Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne integration preferred –
- Other Special Requirements: Access to phone and PC/laptop along with connectivity to Avon network for off-hours support of batch cycle.
